I'm not so sure why, but I felt compelled tonight to write. As usual, procrastinating completing the usual mundane tasks that school and home life demand. But, it's almost comforting to be in this place again, putting off the inevitable assignment, or chore to sit and share choice pieces of everyday life, with people who either, know what's going on already, or I barely talk to at all to begin with. Read on though, communication is a beautiful thing, even if it is indirect and sparatic. If it rids of a shred of boredom, I suppose, I have fulfilled my duty. Because let's face it, not often does one log on to Live Journal in hopes of hearing (or rather reading) about someone elses day: wondering whether they enjoyed school that day, if they're grounded or not, and if they're having some sort of life changing epiphany( Which in reality is neither an epiphany nor life changing, but more a realization we all come to in certain terms). No, we log on because we're bored, english can wait, math, psychology, dish washing and all things domestic can simply wait, because someone has made a new entry.
As I said initially, I enjoy being in this place again, a similar situation to how I have been since the discovery of Live journals distraction. In a way, this has been part of highschool, something which I see more and more coming to end. All the college attendees are smiling right now, or perhaps laughing, thinking I thought the same thing last year, and here I am, surviving, Being an adult. And all my peers, my fellow 2006 graduates are themselves thinking similarly to me, because we are in the same boat. Sailing towards adulthood, independence, and *gasp* responsibilty. For some reason, I am anticipating this all with bated breath. I look forward to my independence. This may all be a part of always wanting/wishing/waiting for more. It first was to go to prom, then get my license, enter senior year, and now to get accepted to college, go to senior prom, and graduate. However, while some are wishing for it all to come to a stand still, simply to become a snapshot of life and freeze where we are never to grow up, I can not wait. As much as I love this year, and savor every moment of being a highschool student and dealing with highschool dramas and excitements, I am ready. It may be hard to face, but we arent in never never land, peter pan can't rescue us. We all have to grow up sometime. So why fight it? Why wish for it not to end? why not ride it out, and enjoy it for what it is, the ever changing flow of life. |

what's been going on you ask? just all whole lot of bulllshit and loads of malarchy lol
no not really...things have been going pretty okay actually...i finally don't have any term papers looming over my head, which is a relief i cant express in words, there is zip zero nada on the boy front but that means a lot less drama and frustration....prom was AMAZING just a great great great great time the post-prom events were RANDOM...and yes im still sorry....uhmm i have been looking at a lot of colleges online through collegeboard and such and i found two that i am incredibly excited about...City University of New York: City City College...or cITY University of New York Brooklyn College...the city college is right in Manhatten and the Brooklyn college obviously is in Brooklyn but they both offer majors i intend to take annnd the one right in manhatten has a persian american club and that is just DOPPPE mayne...but i digress....uhmmm i dont know what else to say, i cant wait for summer, i cant wait to get my license annnd i cant for senior year and it is drawing sooo close.my god. anyways this concludes the update my friens..shitty yes i know...but ill holla at yall in school and what not..

so last night was awesome.just like most other people said.
despite what he thinks i DID have a great date lol thanks dave, im sorry u didnt come out with us after.
i felt so pretty in my dress and shoes lol, everyone kept complimenting me and stuff and i just felt beautiful haha yea im being a geek enough of that
anyways dancing with my girls was fun last nite, strayed from any grinding because of the length of the dress lol so yeah cant wait to see the pictures haha cuz mine n daves is hilarious and the group picture will be GORGEOUS
sooo after an awesome semi, came home changed with tayla and then the wonderful chrissy came n picked us up along with pat n rah lol...so we drove around the sheraton area like losers since VYVY VO CAN NOT GIVE DIRECTIONS FOR HER LIFE...anyways lol got to the party it was a fuckin MIXED GROUP OF PEOPLE lol so i had a few drinks like 5?6? but i drank them so fuckin fast, haha casey mentored me on not mixing drinks lol thank you alcohol mom. i was pretty tipsy lol talkin to Alex on the phone being an idiot n listenin to him laugh the whole time was so funny and then this morning remembering bits and pieces of what i told him ahh so funny but he didnt care he thought it was funny...idk i really like him alot. and he likes me too....the only bad part of the night was i kind of missed him but idk prom will be good....anywho...awesome after party hilarious fighting with tayla about the bed and good talking with jocie this morning ILY!!!

so today. go out with my mother to cvs and shit, then come get my father from the house and we all go to lunch.fine. then theyre goin to go buy food for tommorow, and my father sees residue around the house from AJ.in the car starts asking if he was there the night before.my mother doesnt lie n tells him yes. he turns the car around, and leaves.lucky us hell come for presents in the morning, and says hes goin to go drink all night at his house.fuckin fantastic.what a lovely christmas eve, my mother asleep, my sister in her room wrapping presents, and me looking at everyones away messages about the family over blah blah, well where the fuck is mine. tayla brings me to her aunts house where i actually enjoy myself, but its sad seeing happy married couples, i dont understand it i guess...come home, see fuckin AJ's car in the driveway GO HOME!, try to open the door and realized it chain locked, have to have my fuckin mother open it in a bathrobe real cool.ask why its locked and im told in case your father comes, WELL MAYBE HIS FUCKIN CAR SHOULDNT BE SITTING IN THE DRIVEWAY and maybe HE SHOULDNT BE HERE TO BEGIN WITH SINCE UHM IDK, HES NOT PART OF THE FUCKIN FAMILY. yeah, happy christmas eve everyone. |
